Your Consultation

Every successful treatment begins with a thoughtful consultation. At Skinhorizon Clinic, your assessment is led by a GMC-registered clinician who listens carefully, examines thoroughly, and creates a personalised plan that puts your safety and outcomes first.

1) Why a consultation matters

A great outcome starts with a great diagnosis. Your consultation allows us to:

  • Understand your concerns, medical history and goals.
  • Perform a focused clinical examination and, where relevant, use diagnostic tools (e.g., dermoscopy, mole imaging).
  • Explain suitable options, benefits, risks and recovery in plain language.
  • Create a personalised plan with transparent costs and timelines.

It’s your time to ask questions, explore options and decide confidently with expert guidance.

2) What to expect at Skinhorizon

  • Listen: We begin with your story — symptoms, triggers, routines, previous treatments.
  • Examine: Targeted skin/scalp assessment; photos may be taken to track progress.
  • Explain: Clear discussion of diagnoses and evidence-based options (medical, laser, procedural, skincare).
  • Plan: You’ll receive a written plan outlining recommendations, aftercare and guide pricing.
  • Decide: No pressure — book treatment on the day or later. We’ll be here when you’re ready.
